Unity Grill

Eat Well. Do Good. Two things we firmly believe in, and two things that happen to be strong values of the team at Unity Grill.

After our first meeting with Angela, we were blown away by her passion and enthusiasm for her newest project. Aiming to challenge food poverty and hunger in Ayrshire, Unity Grill is in the works to be set up as Ayrshire’s first ‘Social Restaurant’, providing a welcome table, delicious food and community spirited sharing, with 100% of profits used to challenge food poverty. As you’ll guess, we were more than happy to be involved!

Angela and the Unity Grill team are aiming to help alleviate hunger in a meaningful way by giving those who can’t afford a meal a chance to sit at their table, offering valuable volunteering opportunities and important skills training.

“Hunger is not an issue of charity. It is an issue of justice.”

Soon to be opening this year, our designers knuckled down to create a visual for the Unity Grill brand that was strong and contemporary, embracing the coming together of people and the deeper cause behind all that Unity Grill will do. Designing a strong, iconic logo ensures that the brand will always be recognised, no matter where it is.

From this, we began designing a brand new website that would provide an online platform for those wishing to learn more about the work Unity Grill does, as well as checking out the locally sourced menus – because let’s face it, we’re never far from thinking about our next meal.

With the hard work of Ayrshire locals and volunteers headed up by Angela, Unity Grill is growing from strength to strength before it’s even opened its doors! Keep your eyes (and mouths!) peeled for more info on the grand opening, and how to book seats for the hottest new restaurant in Ayrshire, safe in the knowledge that you’ll be helping in the movement to stop food poverty in Ayrshire!
